Poem Of My Country by Malyun Abdullahi

* Those who milk their camels and sing.

* Those who produce the sweet fruits of their farms.
* Those who trap and hunt wild deer.
* The children who attend in high school.
* Let them reap its rewards in society`s unhitching.
* Those who are searching strange lands while their country remains in the desert.
* Those who are burying knowledge in the grave.
* Those who are creating hostilities and promoting war.

* What government we had.
* What people obeying each other we had.
* What beautiful zoos and different kinds of animals we had.
* What  foreigners from other countries arrived on a tours.

* Who hunted and put our leaders into the grave.
* Who killed and slaughtered our intellectual people.
* Who destroyed and played our dignity and honor
* Who sanctioned trade in our country.
* Who smeared the beautiful buildings and grace of my country.
* Who picked out the minerals of my country.
* Who stole the economic resources of my country.

* How many children sat by their mother`s graves crying,
* While adults were miserable.
* God can change everything.
* How many people died unjustly.
* How many children spilled their blood in Mogadishu.
* How many people looted other’s property.
* How many thugs pillaged the property of the people.
* How many people lost their property to looting.

* Where has Somali peace gone.
* Where did Somali people flee.
* We are Somali people.

* Why did we kill each other unjustly.
* Why did we eradicate the chief elders and wise men.
* Why did they kill and oppress the civilian population.
* Why was the Somali government destroyed.
* Why were the Somali people eliminated.
* My Allah give us peace.
